Why I Created Simply Skinspiration

A Girl Scout Gold Award Project about confidence, self-care, and lasting impact.

When I first started caring about skincare, I was honestly so confused. There were all these products, routines, and big words like “hyaluronic acid” that made me feel overwhelmed. Plus, I didn’t always feel confident in my own skin.
Over time, I learned that skincare doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive—it just has to be consistent and gentle. I started sharing tips with my friends, and they told me it actually helped them too! That’s when I realized this is something I wanted to share with even more people.
This project is my way of combining something I care about (healthy skin + confidence) with my Girl Scout journey.
Being a Girl Scout has taught me about leadership, service, and making a difference. To me, helping people take care of their skin is more than just beauty—it’s about self-care, health, and confidence.

Hi there! Welcome to
Simply Skinspiration
This site is all about helping teens (and honestly, anyone!) learn how to take care of their skin in a super simple, stress-free way. You don’t need expensive products or a 10-step routine—just a few healthy habits can make a big difference. My goal is to give you tips, tricks, and a little encouragement so you can feel confident in your own skin.
This website is part of my Girl Scout Gold Award Project—which is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn! The Gold Award is all about making a lasting impact in your community, and I chose skincare because I know how much it can affect our confidence, especially as teens.
This website is a form of community service because it’s a free resource anyone can use. Instead of just doing something temporary, I wanted to create something lasting—so even after my Gold Award project is finished, people can still visit True Skin Guide and find tips, routines, and encouragement.
